We are currently looking for a mission-aligned energy policy and communications professional to coordinate and publish external communications. Prior experience in the environmental justice or utility advocacy space is a plus, but not required.

The Research and Communications Manager is responsible for ensuring that The Alliance’s work is known and accessible to the community online. This person is responsible for collaborating with our Community Engagement Manager to manage the organization’s communications calendar, partnering with staff to publish blogs, regulatory summaries, and a monthly newsletter, and conducting relevant research and remaining up to date on significant events and Alliance policy positions.
This role reports to the Director of Staff, collaborates closely with the entire Alliance team, and may supervise the work of assigned interns, fellows, and contractors.
Hybrid. Remote possible, residing in Louisiana preferred.
$60,000 – $80,000 (evaluated based upon relevant prior experience)
Hiring for this role will include up to three (3) rounds of interviews. The Alliance will review applications on a rolling basis and looks to have this role filled by the end of September.
