The Louisiana Public Service Commission (PSC) is rushing a decision that could cost all of us.

Later this year, the LPSC is being asked to give final expedited approval to Entergy’s proposal to build seven new gas-fired power plants and a new transmission line to provide an unknown amount of power to Meta’s new A.I. data center near Monroe.

Join our community briefing on Tuesday, September 29 at 6pm with the Union of Concerned Scientists to get the facts and take action before it’s too late.

So much has happened in the last few months in our case against Entergy and Meta. The Commission has been generous in granting Entergy and Meta’s requests, keeping crucial information about how many jobs the project will generate and how much power it needs from the public. We’ll be providing updates on what’s been happening in the official proceedings, hearing from impacted community members, and sharing what’s next for decision makers.
