The Louisiana Public Service Commission is holding their next meeting on Wednesday, February 19 at 9am in Baton Rouge.

Entergy is asking for a rate increase to cover costs associated with Hurricane Francine, which made landfall in September of last year (docket U-37468).

The Louisiana Legislative Auditor released a scathing audit last month detailing Louisiana’s electricity system, the LPSC’s role in regulating our electric utilities, and the challenges facing the electric grid and LPSC.
