Looking for ways to make your home more energy efficient?
The Alliance is a big supporter of Energy Smart, the program run by the New Orleans City Council to make energy efficiency even more appealing to the community. Among the different ways that Energy Smart can help you save energy (and money!) is with their solar water heater pilot which allows the sun to heat all of the hot water that you use at home.

For more information about check out their website here.

Solar energy prices are dropping and experts are predicting that solar energy will finally begin to catch up to wind and nuclear power as common sources of energy. By using solar power, you’re helping to make sure that renewable, carbon free, energy sources attain cost parity with other energy generating technologies.

What are YOU doing to save energy in your home? Let us know in the comments!

he solar water heater is the future of energy consumption. The way the utilization of electricity is happening, sooner or later, solar energy will be the only alternative left in the market. Solar water heaters are not only energy-efficient but also help in speed heating. Changes in energy prices, the emergence of new heating technologies, increased attention to environmental housing is pushing people to seek alternative or complementary… Chemistry and building products manufacturing.
