AP: Louisiana regulators approve Cleco Corporation sale

At a special session on March 28, 2016 the Louisiana Public Service Commission approved the previously rejected Cleco/Macquarie sale. “I am deeply disappointed by today’s outcome and I fear for the long-term consequences for Cleco’s captive ratepayers,” Commissioner Holloway said after the vote.
