Hear from Ruda Pollard (PosiGen Solar Community Marketing Manager), Michael G. Stag (Environmental Lawyer), Angelle Bradford (Volunteer leader with the Delta Chapter of the Sierra Club and board member for Louisiana Bucket Brigade), Andy Kowalczyk (Electricity Transmission Consultant and the Chair of Just Transition Group for 350 New Orleans), and Isabella Donnell (member of ServeLA serving with Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana).
The forum will be held virtually through Zoom on Saturday, March 20th from 11AM-1PM CST. The forum will be divided into three main sections listed below with various speakers at each discussion. We encourage you to come to the entire event, but it will be split up by topic.

11:25 – 12:00 PM CST: Beyond Climate: Renewable energy and affordability, Green business and technology
12:00 – 12:35 PM CST: Law and Policy: Environmental law & policy, Environmental activism & justice
12:35 – 1:00 PM CST: Next Steps: Media influence on climate change, how you can get help solve these issues (this section will be more audience participation based and attendees will be encouraged to speak)
Team 4087 is a local FIRST robotics team from Ben Franklin High School in New Orleans, LA. They strive to “Be Inspired and Inspire Others” and promote STEM awareness throughout the Greater New Orleans area by providing youth with engaging hands-on experiences that empower them to pursue futures in STEM. FRC Team 4087 has partnered with the Society of Women Engineers chapter (BFHS SWENext) to educate and empower the future leaders of tomorrow.
