How will the climate forum work?
The forum will be held virtually through Zoom on Saturday, March 20th from 11AM-1PM CST. The forum will be divided into three main sections listed below with various speakers at each discussion. 11:00 – 11:25 PM CST: Webinar call opening remarks and Ongoing Climate Presentation: Introductions, Overview of current Gulf Coast climate
11:25 – 12:00 PM CST: Beyond Climate: Renewable energy and affordability, Green business and technology
12:00 – 12:35 PM CST: Law and Policy: Environmental law & policy, Environmental activism & justice.
12:35 – 1:00 PM CST: Next Steps: Media influence on climate change, How you can get help solve these issues (this section will be more audience participation based and attendees will be encouraged to speak)
