Samuel Wilcher has been a fighter for sustainability and renewable energy since his early days living in New York. His early career revolved around music promotion in both NYC and NOLA and to this day, ‘Sammy’ (as his friends call him) bridges music with his passions for equity and justice. In the last 20 years, he has been a sales consultant working with businesses small to large on technology solutions and always goes out of the way to get what is best for his customers. Sammy was introduced to the Alliance for Affordable Energy when he moved to NOLA and found an organization whose aim of affordable renewable energy matched his personal beliefs.Those lucky enough to know him site his keen abilities to meet people where they are, publicly speak on a variety on topics, and create meaningful connections between diverse groups of people.
Sammy is also an avid Saints, Pelicans, and Yankees fan and in pre-COVID times could be spotted enthusiastically cheering at many sporting events.
