Joaneane A. Smith-Jones is a dedicated leader with over 25 years of experience in management consulting and serves as President/CEO of GCS. A graduate of Southern University at New Orleans (B.S. in Business Administration) and Louisiana State University (MBA), Joaneane is committed to fostering the next generation of leaders, especially in STEM fields. She is deeply involved in her community, working with organizations that support children and young adults in science, technology, engineering, and math.
She proudly serves on the LSU Dean’s Advisory Council, the LSU Foundation National Board, and the Advisory Board for the Southern University at New Orleans College of Business & Public Administration. Her dedication to empowering women and supporting educational initiatives is evident in her leadership roles with the National Association of University Women, the National Council of Negro Women, and the Alliance for Affordable Energy.
