The Council opened UD-26-01 on May 21st, 2026 to consider revising the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) Rules with respect to how distributed energy resources (DERs) are included in both the DSM Potential Study and the IRP analyses.
There is as strong need to reflect the technological and market changes and edit the definition of “Distributed Energy Resources” since much as changed since the last IRP Rules were adopted in 2017.
