Lorey is the Principal of Flick Engineering Professionals, an Engineering consulting firm in New Orleans. Lorey has several years of experience in the design of mechanical systems, energy analysis for new and existing buildings, sustainability consulting, LEED documentation, and commissioning. Her project experience involves design projects spanning numerous industry sectors from $3M-$400M+.
Before moving back home and forming Flick Engineering Professionals, Lorey served as Partner of ads ENGINEERS, an established New York City MEP firm, President of ASHRAE-NY, and sat on technical committees for the New Buildings Institute: Core Performance Guide, the New York City 2016 Energy Code, and was a technical service provider for the New York State Commercial Energy Program. Lorey was most recently recognized as New York Business Journal’s 2016 Woman of Influence. She holds a BS in Engineering from Tulane University.
