New Orleans is rapidly moving forward with energy efficiency and preparing to make major decisions on how we meet our energy needs for the next twenty years.
Now the City Council has called for two public hearings to gauge community support for the New Orleans Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) and include your voice in the plan for our city’s energy future.
The first of these public meetings will be hosted by Entergy next Wednesday, February 20th, from 2-4:30pm at the UNO Lindy Boggs Conference Center (2045 Lakeshore Drive). This meeting is a chance to learn what Entergy is proposing to the Council and an opportunity to ask questions about their methodology, findings, and recommendations.
You have a unique perspective to share on how the Council should invest hundreds of millions of ratepayer dollars in the coming years.
