Randy Cobb

Randy started with the Louisiana Green Corps in April 2009. He had worked in construction before, but had trouble finding full-time work. He took to work with the Corps immediately, and emerged as a leader. Randy's work ethic helped him stand out from the get-go. He credits the Corps with helping him learn not only physical skills, but also having postive interactions with other people. Randy worked closely with the people in his crew, and built strong bonds.

Since graduation, Randy recently graduation from the Gulf Coast Community Career Center (GCCCC) with a Certificate of Acheivemet and Success. This accolade certifies that Randy is prepared to join the union, a goal that is important to him. In addition, he is enrolled in Louisiana Technical College, and will study plumbing.
