The next time that you need to upgrade an old appliance, you should consider an Energy Star model to save money on you utility bills. Energy Star is a joint government program to identify appliances that use energy efficiently to help people save money and protect the environment. Qualified appliances use up to 50% less energy and water than standard models (in its class).
