Door Sweep
ISSUE:
Installing a door sweep is another simple, cost effective method of making your home more energy efficient. It usually consists of a vinyl and aluminum or hardwood strip that can be applied to the bottom of exterior doors to create a weatherproof seal from air and moisture leakage. It can be adjusted to close gaps of varying heights, which is helpful for uneven gaps from settling doorways. Door sweeps are easy to install and can prevent significant air leakage through the bottom of doorway.
