RESNET home energy rater training
Louisiana CleanTech partners with the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources to offer the only RESNET accredited Rater Training Program in Louisiana. Training will be held Monday through Saturday, July 6-11, in the BuildSmart learning center in the Art Egg Building, 1001 S. Broad Street, New Orleans (directions).
Students will be able to take the RESNET rater test at the end of the six days of training. Students who pass the test will will be required to attend three days of field rater training and will perform three complete HERS Ratings needed to complete the Certification process.
Accredited RESNET Rater Trainer Wade Byrd of Louisiana Clean Tech Network and Performance Building Consulting, will lead the July RESNET rater training. For more information and class fees please see the Louisiana Clean Tech Network website.
