Tom Lowenburg, founder and board member

Thomas Lowenburg is co-founder and the former Research Director of the Alliance. He is owner of “Octavia Books,” a successful independent bookstore in uptown New Orleans. He is a member of the Louisiana Sierra Club; ABA (American Booksellers Association); N.O.-Gulf South Booksellers Association, Board; JCRS (Jewish Children’s Regional Service), and Board, Lowenburg Family Foundation. He has served on the Board since 1985.
