Pam Dashiell, Board Member

Ms. Dashiell served on the Board of the Alliance from August of 2007 until her passing in December 2009. Her leadership and enthusiasm for sustainability is greatly missed at the Alliance and throughout the New Orleans community. She was the President of Holy Cross Neighborhood Association in Lower 9th Ward and helped the Holy Cross Neighborhood become a designated carbon neutral neighborhood. She was a leader and an activist who tirelessly worked to protect the Lower Ninth Ward from harm, including filing an environmental impact lawsuit around dredging of the Industrial Canal.
