Doug Meffert, Board Treasurer

Doug Meffert, Ph.D., Treasurer, is Deputy Director of the Tulane/Xavier Center for Bioenvironmental Research and Eugenie Schwartz Professor of River & Coastal Studies, Tulane University. He is also New Orleans Coordinator for the United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization’s Urban Biosphere program, which is dedicated to international intellectual exchange and research to promote resilience and sustainability of urban ecosystems worldwide. Doug has been a Board member of the Alliance since August 2007.
